Zhi Lin is interested in designing new light-activated tools to study and rewire live-cell protein interactome. By leveraging chemistry and proteomics, Lin and her team aim to ultimately translate dynamic protein interactions and the multitude of mechanistic information behind these interactions into chemical codes that can be deciphered by proteomics and deconvoluted into a programmable protein network hologram.
