Research Interests

We are interested in how tumor cells adapt and remodel microenvironment during cancer metastasis, particularly in the process of metastatic dormancy and awakening, and how the process can be interrupted. We strive to establish animal models and analytic approaches for metastatic dormancy, explore the tumor-intrinsic and exogenous cues governing dormancy entry and exit of disseminated tumor cells, and develop intervening strategies for metastasis treatment and prevention by targeting dormant tumor cells.
