Fan Zhang focuses on the research field of near-infrared (NIR) optical probe design and synthesis, optical imaging instruments, and in vivo fluorescence lifetime imaging. Prof. Zhang and his team have systematically developed a series of near-infrared fluorescent probe tools covering the entire 750–2500 nm emission spectrum, and by combined with imaging systems, they have achieved high-precision in vivo detection. These achievements have advanced basic research and clinical translation, driving rapid progress in the field of near-infrared imaging.
