Prof. Zheng’s research focuses on the transformation of clean energy and the resource utilization of carbon-based small molecules such as carbon dioxide and methane, explores new strategies of metal composite catalytic centers to activate carbon-hydrogen and carbon-oxygen bonds, investigates new mechanisms and new catalysts for the photo- and electrocatalytic reaction, and explore the high-efficiency electrocatalysis of carbon-based small molecules such as carbon dioxide and methane into multi-carbon value-added products.
