The Yue laboratory is interested in dissecting how skeletal stem cells and hematopoietic stem cells interact in the bone marrow to mediate bone-blood crosstalk, their aging mechanisms and rejuvenation strategies. The Yue laboratory is also interested in discoverying novel skeletal stem/progenitor cells in the extramedullary regions, such as the perichondrium, that mediate the crosstalk between bone and skeletal muscles, as well as their biomechanical regulatory mechanisms underlying skeletal development, aging and regeneration.
